One App to Manage Every Child's Medications Separately

Managing medications for one child can be difficult. Managing prescriptions, reminders and repeats for several children can quickly become confusing. MediRemind gives each child a separate medication profile, with their own eScripts, photographed paper prescriptions, reminders, repeat information and recorded expiry dates.

Medication management designed for Australian families

Parents often manage several different types of medication at the same time. One child may use a daily asthma preventer. Another may have medication for ADHD. A younger child may be completing a short course of antibiotics, while a parent is also managing their own regular prescriptions.

The medication schedules are different. The prescriptions expire at different times. The repeat counts are different. The eScript tokens arrive in separate SMS messages, and paper prescriptions may be kept somewhere else entirely.

MediRemind brings them together while keeping every person's information separate. MediRemind supports a separate profile for each family member on one device. Each profile maintains its own medication list, eScript wallet, paper prescriptions, reminders and repeat information.

A separate medication profile for every child

Each profile is completely independent, with its own medications, eScripts, paper prescriptions, reminders and repeat counts.

Separate medication list

Each child's medications are listed separately with the correct dose and schedule. You won't confuse one child's asthma preventer with another's ADHD medication or your own prescriptions.

eScript and paper prescription wallet

Store eScript tokens and photographed paper prescriptions under the correct child's profile. Open the profile at the pharmacy counter and display the saved QR code, no searching through old messages.

Individual reminder schedules

Set completely separate reminders for each child. A morning ADHD reminder and an evening asthma preventer reminder for different children arrive at the right times without mixing together.

Repeat and expiry tracking

Know exactly how many repeats remain for each child's medication and record expiry dates. Get notified before the last repeat is used so you have time to book a GP appointment.

Why parents of multiple children need separate medication profiles

Australian parents managing medications for more than one child quickly discover that a single shared medication list does not work. Without separate profiles, it is easy to lose track of which prescription belongs to which child, or to create dosing mix-ups because reminders are mixed together. Common situations where separate profiles are essential:

One child with asthma (daily preventer and reliever inhaler) and another with ADHD medication on school-day dosing only

A child completing a short course of antibiotics alongside a sibling's long-term medication

Multiple children with different PBS-subsidised medications and different numbers of repeats remaining

Managing your own eScripts alongside separate eScripts and paper prescriptions for each child

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I create a separate medication profile for each child?

Yes. MediRemind supports a separate profile for each family member. Each child's medications, prescriptions, repeats and reminders remain separate.

Can I add eScripts and paper prescriptions for my children?

Yes. Add a child's eScript token to their profile and photograph paper prescriptions so both formats can be organised together. You can keep the prescription, medication details, recorded repeat count, expiry date and reminders under the correct child's profile.

Is there a limit to the number of profiles?

MediRemind supports a separate profile for each family member on one device. Current plan details are shown in the App Store and Google Play.

Will my child's reminders appear on my phone?

Yes. When the child's profile is managed on your device, their medication reminders appear on that device according to the schedule you set.

Can reminders be different for each child?

Yes. Each profile can have its own medications and reminder schedule. A morning reminder for one child remains separate from an evening reminder for another.

Can I manage short-term medicines such as antibiotics?

Yes. You can add a short-term medication under the child's profile and set reminders using the directions already provided by the prescriber or pharmacy.

Can I track repeats for my child's paper prescription?

Yes. Photograph and organise the paper prescription, record the remaining repeats and set reminders before the recorded repeats run low or the prescription approaches its recorded expiry date.

Do children's eScripts work differently from adult eScripts?

Australian eScript tokens use the same electronic-prescription system regardless of whether the prescription is for an adult or child. MediRemind organises the token under the relevant family profile.

Can I display my child's eScript without internet access?

A saved eScript QR code can be displayed from the device without an internet connection. Other features involving maps, account services or sending information may require connectivity.

Can I protect the app with Face ID or fingerprint authentication?

Yes. MediRemind supports biometric protection on compatible devices. The profiles remain separate within the protected app.

Does MediRemind offer a 30-day trial followed by a subscription?

MediRemind includes a 30-day trial, then a subscription. Current plan options and prices are shown before purchase in the App Store and Google Play.
