Ovara Tech (ABN 43 324 331 038) (“MediRemind”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with our mobile application and website. The key principle underpinning this policy is simple: your medication data never leaves your device.

On-Device Medication Data: All medication information, eScript details, repeat counts, reminder settings, and dispense history you enter into MediRemind is stored exclusively on your device using iOS Keychain / Android Keystore encryption. We do not transmit, receive, store, or process this data on our servers.

Account Information: If you create a MediRemind account, we collect your email address and password hash for authentication purposes. We do not require personal health information for account creation.

Usage Analytics: We may collect anonymised, aggregate usage statistics such as app open frequency, feature usage rates, and crash reports. This data cannot be linked to you individually and is used solely to improve the application.

Payment Information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We never receive or store your full credit card details.

We use the limited information we collect to:

• Maintain and authenticate your account
• Process subscription payments via Apple or Google
• Improve app performance and stability
• Respond to support inquiries
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information for targeted advertising, behavioural profiling, or sale to third parties, ever.

Your medication data is stored entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. We implement industry-standard security measures for the limited account data we do hold, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. We recommend enabling biometric authentication within MediRemind for additional local security.

MediRemind integrates with Apple App Store and Google Play Store for payment processing. These services have their own privacy policies and terms of service. We may use anonymised crash reporting services to improve app stability. We do not share personally identifiable information with any third-party advertising or data brokerage services.

You have the right to:

• Access the account information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate account information
• Delete your account and any associated data we hold
• Export your medication data directly from the app at any time
• Opt out of anonymised analytics collection in app settings

MediRemind is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information promptly.

This Policy describes how we handle information within MediRemind and our website. It does not cover, and we are not responsible for, the privacy practices of third-party platforms you use to access MediRemind, such as the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or for information exposed due to your own device security settings, a lost or shared device, or a device that is outdated, modified, or misconfigured. Nothing in this Policy limits any right you have under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) or the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of MediRemind after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
