Start with the first question. The other fields already have practical defaults, so you can calculate straight away.
Include medicines you organise for yourself.
This cannot be higher than your regular medicines.
Use your typical number of repeats per prescription.
Enter 0 if you are only counting yourself.
A suggested estimate is available below.
This is a planning estimate, not a record of your medication use.
How the calculator works
Dispense events are calculated from prescriptions × (repeats + 1). The calculator then adds one expiry event for each prescription, one reorder decision for each dispense event, and your pharmacy trips.
That subtotal is multiplied by 1 + the number of other people you manage medicines for, then rounded to a whole number. It is a personal planning estimate, not a clinical assessment.
